splinters

A magpie was hurt and had his left leg damaged, while 2 boys were waking along the forest to home. They tried to help the magpie and let his leg rest. They took him home to their living room and they named him splinter. One day the painter wanted to buy the magpie and one of the brothers sold the magpie to the painter for $10. The family was sad because he was gone and he wasn't in his little cage. one day again splinters came back but dad decided to call the painter to return him. the were sad until splinters had to go. But Dad had a idea and but a not for sale sigh on splinters when Mr Quin offerd 20 dollers.
